Shootout At Wadala finds a Tumbling Block in Pakistan

Shootout At Wadala (SAW), has hit a stumbling block in Pakistan.

The Censor Board there has deferred the release of the movie, saying that certain elements in the film are too bold and provocative, which is not in keeping with Muslim religious sentiments.

“They found the ‘Laila’ song, that features Sunny Leone, and the lovemaking scene between John (Abraham) and Kangana (Ranaut) too provocative for audiences in Pakistan,” says an insider from the production house.

However, the makers, Balaji Motion Pictures, are still hopeful that their film will eventually release across the border. “We have been informed that the Censor Board objected to certain portions. The authorities are reviewing it,” says Tanuj Garg, chief executive officer of Balaji Motion Pictures.
