A source said: “Gaga’s insurers will be going through her policy
with a fine-toothed comb. They could argue her injury was her own fault for working too hard and scheduling too many dates – so she may be the one who ends up footing the bill.”
They may have a case.
Gaga’s Born This Way Ball tour was billed as one of the world’s most epic, with 110 dates.
While rehearsing the singer shared pictures of her battered body before throwing up on stage during at least two gigs.
She announced she was suffering from an inflammation of the joints on Tuesday.
But tour organisers revealed yesterday that her injuries were more serious and she was pulling out of the rest of her shows to have surgery and recover.
