Selena Gomez, 20-year-old Spring Breakers actress turned
up the heat in her latest video for new single Come and Get It, daring to bare in a number of risque outfits. In one of the more raunchier looks, the singer shows off her enviable figure in a lacey see-through number, proving she's definitely all grown up. The sheer dress exposes her never-ending legs as she takes up a number of sexy poses in a country field.
Pairing her barely-there ensemble with a crimson lip and a heavy gold chain, the Wizards of Waverly place actress has shown that she's well and truly on her way to torching her squeaky clean image for good. Selena teamed up director Anthony Mandler, who was responsible for Taylor Swift's I Knew You Were Trouble video, for the sexy scenes, which later go on to see her cavorting with a hunky male.
Turning up the heat another notch, the star goes on to pose in a pool of water seemingly topless and wearing nothing besides a heavy necklace and the same crimson lips.
According to the singer - who has been traveling tirelessly up and down the country to promote her new single - she was a bit worried about the concept for her new video in the beginning.
'I'm nervous,' Selena confessed to MTV. 'I'm excited, though I honestly feel like it's the best video that I've done and I got to work with great people on it. It looks beautiful, the wardrobe looks great. It was fun for me to have a little more creative control over it.'
'When I got the concept from Anthony, the director, it was perfect, because he did an earth, fire, wind water feel, and it was very, as he called it, "earthy,"' she added.
'And I loved that, because I feel that's what the track represents, and I like that we applied it.'
She also admitted that it wasn't all fun and games filming the video. 'It was hard because each set-up, there were parts I absolutely loved about it, but when we did that fire thing, you would think I’d be hot, but I was freezing. I was so cold, I was shaking as I was doing my dance moves.'
The singer has been courting controversy recently after reports she is back on with embattled ex Bieber. Recently Justin posted a picture of the pair on his Instagram showing Selena cuddling his bare torso from behind. Justin added the caption: 'You've been makin' music for too long baby come cuddle me - her.'
While the picture sent social media into overdrive, it is not clear if the couple are back on for good as it appears to be from some time ago as Justin's most recent forearm tattoos are not visible. But pals of Selena are concerned about their reunion – and even held crisis talks after she confirmed they are back on. One said: “We did everything we could to keep them apart but he was so persistent.
'It’s really unhealthy they have such a turbulent relationship at such a young age.
'He leaves her in floods of tears constantly.'
