Pakistani model and former Bigg Boss contestant Veena Malik
continues with her sensational gimmicks. She is once again in news for a racy photo shoot for her upcoming film, Zindagi 50-50. In the new photos, Veena dons a black bikini teamed with fishnet stockings. In one of her shots where she has her legs up and holds a glass of wine, her pose is a copy of a shot from Kareena Kapoor's film Heroine.
Veena has been shooting for the Rajiv Ruia-directed sex-comedy, which is scheduled for a June release. The films will also be dubbed in Tamil as Mutham Thara Vaa and will be simultaneously released for the southern market. Lately, Veena has been trying every trick in the book to garner attention for the film. Trailer of the film released few weeks back got noticed for her steamy scenes with actor Arya Babbar.
"I love shooting in all those sexy bikinis. It is one of my boldest photo shoots for the character of Madhuri, which is realistic rather than bold. "The film tells the true story and I have given more than 100 per cent to it thanks to the inspiration my character gave me," says Veena, who plays a girl named Madhuri who lives in dingy room in a red light area of Mumbai.
"Veena is methodical when it comes to work. She did an extensive research and even met sex workers to understand their way of talking and body language," a source said. Others in the cast include Riya Sen, Rajpal Yadav and Murli Sharma. Veena Malik came into the limelight with her cheap tricks and open cavorting with cocontestant Ashmit Patel on the reality show Bigg Boss 4.
She was embroiled in a controversy when she posed nude for the cover of an international lifestyle magazine's India edition. However, her controversial background has helped her bag small-budget films. After Zindagi 50-50, she will be seen in Haroon Rashid's The City That Never Sleeps which is based on night life in India.
