Murnaghan, 54, was all in shame as he was caught kissing and cuddling with his makeup artist Camilla Tew, 31, in Hyde Park.
At one stage Mr Murnaghan was pictured toying with a zip running down the front of Miss Tew’s red dress. Despite the revelations, Mr Murnaghan appeared composed on Sky News yesterday as he interviewed Simon Hughes, deputy leader of the Liberal Democrats.
His 50-year-old wife Maria refused to comment on her husband’s actions.
The pair, who married in 1989 after meeting as students at Sussex University, have four children aged between ten and 20.
Miss Tew, who is believed to be single, works as a freelance make-up artist, including on the newsreader’s Sunday morning Murnaghan show.
