Tricia Penrose has been the victim of fashion failure since last year and
today’s failure at the 2012 Inside Soap Awards, sponsored by boohoo.com, on Monday evening, was startling.
The former Strictly Come Dancing runner-up didn't leave her ensemble there, and added even more fuss to the outfit with bright pink nails and a pair of fierce red and tan spiked Christian Louboutin stilettos.
After a busy few days, which has seen Chelsee complete the Virgin Active London Triathlon and take part in a celebrity cook-off, she admitted to feeling a little sleepy ahead of the event at London's One Marylebone. Writing on her Twitter page, she said: 'Actually falling asleep while @AmandaXXXXX doin my make Up! That King Size is looking Tooo tempting right now :( #tiredgirl.'
But the star quickly perked up when she and her Waterloo Road co-stars Will Rush and Naveed Choudhry picked up the award for Best Drama. She tweeted: 'Me and my waterloo buddies we won best drama.' But Chelsee wasn't the only soap star to get it wrong on the red carpet.
Tricia Penrose proved there is such a thing as too much fake tan and too much cleavage as she posed in a form-fitting cobalt blue gown. With her ample chest given more than a little boost, the 42-year-old actress failed to score any fashion points with her loud ensemble.
EastEnders were the big winners of the evening, bagging the awards for Best Soap, Best Actress, Best Newcomer, Funniest Male, Funniest Female, Best Bitch and Sexiest Male.
