A lecturer at Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) has
got her doctorate in Extragalactic Astrophysics- an emerging branch of Astrophysics which is being recognized globally.
The university has issued statement here on Tuesday that Professor Dr Shahid Qureshi at Institute of Space and Planetary Astrophysics (ISPA), University of Karachi supervised her. HEC foreign faculty Professor Dr. S. Nuritdinov, also guided her in research work.
Dr. Sultan’s research is based on `Mathematical modeling of formation of ring structures in galaxies at early evolution of Universe'.
Her work is not only accepted by national institutes but also recognized by Oxford University and University of California, the statement added.
This is really a very false claim. There is a women from Pakistan named Tayyaba Zafar who had done her PhD in extragalactic astrophysics from Copenhagen in 2011. One must correct facts. http://dark.nbi.ku.dk/research/publications/theses/phd/tayyaba_zafar/
ReplyDeleteShe did her Phd from abroad.I never claimed that i am only pakistani woman who did doctorate in astrophysics in whole world.I claimed that i did Phd in extragalactic astrophysics from pakistan where we have no equippment nor advance technology.
ReplyDeleteEven we have only 2 or 3 universities who have astrophysics department. You can check it out
