Kristen Stewart attends Hollywood awards in absence of R - Patz?

Kristen Stewart, the Twilight star was at the Academy of Motion Picture
Arts and Sciences' 4th Annual Governors Awards at the Hollywood and Highland Center in Los Angeles on Saturday and pulled out another one of her arresting gowns.

The 22-year-old opted for a slightly old-fashioned number, although it was a far cry from the eye-popping choice for the The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 world premiere in the city late last month.

On this occasion Stewart wore a black high-waisted fish tail dress and patterned bodice - complete with small puffed sleeves and a high scooped neck line, mostly made of sheer white lace.

Minimal jewellery, black nails and her trademark, tousled side-swept hair
completed the look. Her make-up was natural apart from her eyes. dusted with smoky hues and lashings of mascara. The dress was by Talbot Runhoff and her heels, Christian Louboutin.

Boyfriend Robert Pattinson was nowhere to be seen, however - having stepped out solo in Hollywood on Friday for a luncheon celebrating the release of Richard Gere's new movie, Arbitrage. Their romance is still rocky as Robert struggles for forgive the 22-year-old actress for her not too distant indiscretion.

The couple reportedly dated for four years before her brief fling with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders in August, and Kristen is apparently desperate to win back Rob's trust.

'Rob is at a point where he sometimes ignores her. He'll go out and won't respond to her calls or texts right away. Things will be strained for a while,' a source close to the British actor told US Weekly magazine.

Focused on enjoying her night out, however, Kristen rubbed shoulders with other attendees, including Amy Adams and Virgina Madsen.

Amy wore a gold backless affair while Virgina chose a dramatic, emerald green number. Helen Hunt sparkled in a flowing, nude coloured gown that showed off her toned arms and Leslie Mann rocked an edgy, fitted black number with daring black detail.

Other celebrities such as Will Smith George Lucas and Quentin Tarantino were also spotted.
