Jim Carrey has a flair for finding diamonds among the rough, as his latest
squeeze is actually an unknown make-up artist named Cathriona White. And it seems the Mask actor has really found his pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, for she hails all the way from Ireland. The middle aged comic was certainly grinning like a leprechaun as he enjoyed a day at the beach with the saucy 26-year-old beautician in California celebrity enclave Malibu last month.
And it seems the 50-year-old Batman Forever favourite is not the
only person who is benefiting from their fledgeling relationship. A source told RadarOnline: 'Jim and Cathriona have been dating for over a month now. She comes from a very small rural village in County Tipperary and left Ireland for Los Angeles after studying to be a beautician. Cathriona is ambitious and is working as a make-up artist in Hollywood – and she’s already worked on many film sets since arriving in the States. She’s very focused on making this work and will do anything she can to make sure she’s successful.'
'And dating Jim certainly can’t hurt her career. His status will certainly give her a leg up in the industry and open doors for her that could have been more difficult if she didn’t know him. She’s definitely living in a dream world right now.'
Of course it is all just par for the course for the multimillionaire Kick-Ass 2 actor.
Since splitting with his long-term girlfriend Jenny McCarthy in 2010, the Canadian has been linked with a bevy of much younger beauties, including 23-year-old Russian student Anastatisa Vitkina.
