The Shiv Sena has announced that Thackeray’s body will be kept at Shivaji park from 7am tomorrow for darshan. The funeral will take place at 3.30pm.

5:20 pm: Mumbai begins to close down following the announcement, funeral tomorrow
The city which had shut down a couple of days when the Shiv Sena chief’s ill health had deteriorated.
The Shiv Sena has announced that the party’s supporters can see Thackeray one last time tomorrow morning at Shivaji Park in central Mumbai. The body will be kept there for around three hours after which the final rites will be carried out.

The party has also appealed to all activists not to gather at the Thackerays residence in suburban Bandra.
