Her 'little monsters' clamour for a glimpse of their 'mother,' and Lady
Gaga is never one to disappoint them. But on Saturday, the 26-year-old excelled herself with a breathtakingly normal appearance on her hotel balcony in Rio.
There were no gimmicks in sight, just Rita Hayworth wavy brown hair, a retro style pretty printed sarong and a turquoise bikini top. Gaga, looked ready to hit up a Hawaiian tiki bar... but her sarong showed a map of Brazil in 1950s style colourful print.
She played up to her starlet looks, blowing kisses a la Marilyn from the makeshift stage. She also sent burgers and fries to her Brazilian fans camped outside her hotel. She organised the special treat for all her loyal fans, who descended on her hotel to catch a glimpse of their idol.
Gaga posted on twitter: 'OI GALERA! In Rio + My beautiful fans are
wearing leather & bandanas in the sun, bad asses, gorgeous smiles & fists in the air! I HEAR U! 'Im sending you hamburgers, fries and coke. I love you monsters. (sic)'
The generous pop star can't wait to perform at the Parque dos Atletas (City of Rock) venue on Friday because sharing her love with her fans is what the music industry is all about. She added: 'Brazil, there's hundreds @ the hotel and this is what the f*ck its all about, revolution through music. Get ready to party at the show in 2 days. (sic)'
Meanwhile, Gaga has made a tremendously generous donation to the
American Red Cross for the Hurricane Sandy Relief. She made a $1 million pledge on behalf of herself and her family, including parents Joe and Cynthia Germanotta and sister Natali, who all reside in New York.
'Today I pledge 1 million dollars to New York & The American Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy Relief,' she wrote on her Twitter account. 'If it wasn’t for NYC: the Lower Eastside, Harlem, the Bronx and Brooklyn, I would not be the woman or artist that I am today.'
She's currently in a country where they celebrate women's curves and often go topless during Brazil's famous carnival. Earlier in the day Gaga decided to celebrate her trip to Rio De Janeiro by showing off her own voluptuous figure as she descended on the South American city.
The pop princess gave her fans a show when she emerged on her hotel balcony. Earlier in the day, Gaga was more demure as she greeted her fans wearing a pair of sheer black bicycle shorts paired with a denim shirt and lace-up platform boots.
Her recently-dyed brunette locks were out in loose waves and she finished off her look with a bandana and hoop earrings.
