Amir Khan’s 'Talaash' opens in Theatres on 30th November

A dream project of Reema Katgi, the co-writer and director of ‘Talaash’ is
scheduled to release on November 30 and advance booking of the movie in many multiplexes across major centers in the country  has started more than 100 days prior to the release. The Amir Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Kareena Kapoor starrer, was slated to be released in December 2011 than in Jun 2012 but now after advance bookings, it seems release date will not be rescheduled any further.

January 2012 saw a teaser trailer of the movie which saw roaring response of audience but still its release date was pushed back. It is being rumoured that that the story line of the movie had some resemblance to Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Kahanni’. It is also garnering more response from audience because it is Amir’s first full-fledged role after ‘3 idiots’

As a source close to the movie said, “Never before has this happened for any Bollywood film but perhaps this is Aamir's way of making an announcement quite loud and clear. At many multiplexes across major centers in the country, the film's advance booking has already opened for November 30. While patrons were in for a surprise when they realized that they could book tickets for ‘Talaash’ well in advance, it is also a way for producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidwani to gauge audience curiosity much in advance.”

‘Talaash’ is the movie of a police officer. Amir has also co-produced the movie along with Ritesh and Farhan Akhtar. Known to keep the secrecy around his movies, nothing about the story has been divulged.
The script has been co-written by Reema Katgi and Zoya Akhtar. Reema is also the director of the movie. Her earlier movie ‘Honeymoon travels pvt. Ltd. has had a limited success at the box office. The shooting for the movie began in March 2011 and was completed by August. It’s shooting took place at Mumbai and Pondicherry.
